EVENT:
2002 Las Vegas Tour

GOSSIP:
"He didn't make it in Vegas"

THE FACTS:
A 3 month contract brought the KeySlayer™ to Caesar's Palace, The Mirage, Mandalay Bay and then the Bellagio in Las Vegas. "I did not renew the contract at the Bellagio. Going home to pursue my new image, KeySlayer was next." The lounge Manager did asked him to continue performing at the Bellagio Petrosian Lounge.

Not wanting to be a lounge lizard, concert work was his focus. KeySlayer's Personal Manager at the time convinced him it would be a great opportunity. Feeling that the Manager had abandoned his career goals once the contract was signed, KeySlayer had no choice but to play out the contracts.

Following his Vegas tour, KeySlayer™ returned to performances in San Diego's Gaslamp area. Then, the comments began. "Hey, you didn't make it in Vegas"..."What happened?" etc...it drove him crazy! Why?, in 30 days he was booked for an appearance as the designated tribute artist to the great Liberace. Quite an honor!

The performance was with Charo and Siegfried & Roy for the grand reopening of the Liberace Museum. Bernie (S & R's Manager) was standing right next to me during the performance. Soon thereafter, a mutual friend said to me, "Bernie will make you millions, and (they) want you to call his office." His office is aware of KeySlayer and the door is open at this point.

While boarding at Las Vegas airport right after the performance, Peter called his Manager and told him to make some kind of deal with Charo on his behalf. The timing was perfect. "She loved my performance!." He never went near her!
